What’s on in July

Summer is in full swing and July is jam packed full of great events and festivals to check out. Here are a few for your diary.

European Street Food Festival


Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd July

The food festival craze is hitting the streets of Hohenems this weekend. Wander through the streets and get to sample food from all over the world, including Thai, Asian, Japanese, American and European dishes. Healthy bites or indulgent treats await you as well as a whole range of drinks to keep you hydrated.

Saturday 1st July

There is no doubt the cheese street in Bregenzerwald is well known and this weekend all of the delights from the region will be available in Kornmarktplatz in Bregenz for you to enjoy.


Origano Festival


Thursday  6th – Saturday 8th July

In it’s fifth year Origano is back to delight both your ears and your stomach with music and food from around the world.


Feldkircher Weinfest

A weekend full to the brim of wine, food and music. Sounds good to me. As well as obviously a lot of wine to sample, this year Feldkirch are teaming up with their weekly market  to offer culinary delights such as grilled suckling pigs, fresh salads, vegetarian specialties, sweet and savory crêpes and coffee to compliment the traditional menu of grill specialties, raclette bread and grilled prawns.


Fesch’markt Vorarlberg #4

Friday 7th. – Sunday 9th July


If you are already in Feldkirch for the Wine Festival, why not drop in to Fesch’markt in Pförtnerhaus for a bit of unique shopping and some more eating, just for good measure.


Poolbar-Festival 2017

7th July – 15th August


The 2017 Poolbar Festival kicks off on Friday 7th July. Check out their full program online. Don’t miss out on their jazz brunch every Sunday, and if you have tickets to a concert make sure you head their early to grab a drink and a bite to eat at their purpose built bar and chill out area.




Friday 14th & Saturday 15th July

This traditional festival hosted in the charming Anton-Schneider Street in Bregenz is back again with a program full of music, food and drink, with exclusive offerings from some of your favourite locals, including Bregenzer Salon, Buongustaio Bregenz, Cafesito, Gösserbräu Bregenz, Trattoria-Pizzeria IL Monello, Füxl – kunstkulturgenuss and Angus Steakhouse Bregenz.

Thursday 20th & Friday 21st July

Dornbirn marketplace will once again be turned into a foodie’s paradise when Laurenz- Meet & Eat comes to town. With local restaurants and bars offering unique dishes not normally available on their menus, it is definitely one not to miss, especially if it is as good as last year.

4th August

An ice cream festival is coming and I already hear you all screaming for ice cream.

Ice cream dealers from all around Vorarlberg will be together in one place offering up their delicious and unique flavours. So for kids and big kids alike, this is one not to be missed.
